Ah… Last week was crazy! Busy with things like canning apple pie filling and apple sauce, and pear sauce. 🙂 But my shelves are looking full and the crazy isn’t over yet.
Still need to find tomatoes and get some salsa canned, hopefully that will happen this week. If it doesn’t… well then it’s not going to happen because next week is busy with family stuff and after that, the frost will likely have killed all the tomato plants.
Last Sunday was full, but fun. We went to my mom’s and had a little revealing party for this baby number two. After that we ate a full lunch of mom’s homemade pizza and ice-cream (it cannot get any better than that for a pregnant lady!)
As it turned out, we weren’t the only one’s with a surprise. My brother then handed out cards to us and they said “The best siblings get promoted to aunts and uncles!” Finally!!! I wasn’t the only one in my family having babies! I think it’s great that this little baby will have a cousin just a few months younger than him. 🙂
If you missed the reveal on Facebook, below is the video we took to send our out-of town family:
Living Proverbs 31 Features!
Domestically Disheveled shared a post with 31 ways to encourage your husband. Our men work hard to provide and I love her ideas. October has 31 days and I know we are already 5 days in, but why don’t you challenge yourself to do one of those ideas a day for a whole month?
Hope in the Healing is talking about the prisoners around us. Have you ever thought of the people around you who are in chains? What are you doing with your life to free those in chains? A very thought provoking post and totally worth the read!
