Hello lovely friends!
So glad to have you joining us again for another linkup. I know I stink at leaving comments but I just want you to know how much I enjoy reading what’s been shared each week.
Just going through the links and looking for that “perfect post” to share can really inspire, challenge and encourage me. Keep writing for God’s glory friends, and by all means, keep sharing your posts here!
The first post I want to feature is one that really spoke to my heart. Rosalind has 4 angels babies in heaven waiting for her and speaks from deep experience when writing 3 Ways to Respond When a Friend has a Miscarriage.
I’ve not been in her shoes, and when both of my sister-in-laws lost their babies, I was at a total loss. My heart hurt so much for each of them and I wanted to offer comfort, yet here I am with my little one still growing well (praise the Lord!).
I sought advice from friends who had also walked that valley and what they gave me was good. Rosalind’s post echo’s that and I highly suggest you read it.
The second post is quite different from the first, but just as needful to know. Tanya wrote a post titled 7 Tips For Raising Kids to Reject the Faith. While she is like me and cannot give a good guide for raising kids that will embrace Christ, she’s seen quite well the examples of others who raise kids to reject God.
Her post made me think of this quote “most devout atheists were once Christians”.
I’ve also seen time and again, kids raised in the church but rejecting it as adults. Her “tips” really hit some good points and I’ve committed once again to avoiding speaking ill of others, even when my children aren’t around… because who knows? Maybe they are. 🙂
Definitely give her post a read if you want to know what not to do in raising children to love the Lord!
Oh, he is SO cute in the picture! I can’t believe how big he is getting….they grow up so fast! So thankful all is going well with your pregnancy. 🙂 God bless you all!
Thanks! Babies don’t stay babies and that’s for sure! Sorry about the linkup not being live. I’ve fixed it 🙂
Wow, he’s getting so big! Children are truly miracles. When you think about how little time they’ve been on the earth and how much they have learned and grown in such a short time. Their minds are little sponges! Which is why we need God’s grace and wisdom to help us raise them. Thanks for hosting today.
Thank you for the link up girl! I am enjoying hopping around today on it!
Thank you SO much for featuring my article this week. It was such a nice surprise and a great honor!!
