Hello!

What a blustery cold day. Nothing like the balmy warm days we enjoyed earlier this winter.

But. Spring will come, it is a promise of our God and he will never fail us. So I’m hunkering in for a few more weeks of winter and then will enjoy spring all the more for having waited!

While the earth remaineth, seedtime & harvest, cold & heat, summer & winter, day & night shall not cease. -Gen 8:22Click To Tweet

Do you eagerly wait for spring?

Now for the linkup and our features!

From Artful Homemaking comes this wonderful list of Age Appropriate Chores. Children need to be a part of the working, evolving together family group. Chores are part of this and even very young child are able to take part in the daily chores. My toddler is quite helpful at times.

I love how writer Joy shares what each child does to fulfill their part in the family chores. Sounds so very familiar to the schedules and chores my mom gave my 5 younger siblings and I to do as well.

Embracing the Unexpected hits us pretty hard with her soul searching question: Are You Judgmental? I think most of us would say no, we’re not. Maree didn’t think she was either, but then she made a discovery.

Definitely a must read if you wish for some insight on the judging that Jesus was talking about in the all-favorite, often quoted “judge not” verse.

So there you have it! Share your homemaking posts in the linkup below!

    Kendra,

I am trying to hang on to winter. I love the snow and skiing. We have hit some warm days where I am, and the snow is melting away. I find my self-mourning the change. I do love that God created the seasons. It is a huge reminder what an amazing God we have. It is that in-between I find difficult.

I LOVE winter with it’s snow and all. But we’ve not had snow at all to speak of this winter. Only once before Christmas. So yeah, I’m sick of it pretending to be winter lol.
