Ever have a bad hair day? Ever want to just pull it out and wear a wig?
I wear my hair up in a bun, and under a covering, so it would seem that every day would be a good hair day for me. Not so, I have all these little fly-aways at the base of my neck, and despite using hair clips, and bobby pins and hair spray, my hair won’t stay in place!
One day I noticed a girl from our church wearing a Lila Rose flexi under her bun, at the base of her neck. I looked a little closer and all of her hair was nicely tucked in. I wondered if a Lila Rose flexi would work with my thick, fine hair as well.
A Lila Rose Review:
I had entered several giveaways to try and win a flexi clip from Lila Rose, with no luck. Then I received an email from a Lila Rose consultant, Sarah, asking me to review a flexi clip. Of course I said yes!
Using the sizing video on the site, I decided a mini would be the size I needed to hold the hair at the base of my neck. I was sent this fun little number in the mail, and I put it in my hair the very next day.
So, using my old clips, here is what my hair would look like at the beginning of the day, and at the end. Those clips were the best I had ever used and as you can see, they didn’t work so great.
Here is a photo of beginning and end of day, using a flexi. It still looks really nice doesn’t it?
Sorry about the photo quality, it’s rather hard to take a photo of the back of ones head. 🙁 I was really impressed though. A full day and my hair was still in place for the most part!
I think these would work awesome for the little girls I babysit as well. They have problems with their clips falling out and often complain that they pull. The flexi clip didn’t pull my hair when I put it in and it didn’t slide around at all! Usually my clips do not stay put, they slide up and down and even fall out. 🙁
So, obviously, I only used the flexi for one style. But the flexi clip actually works great for a lot of different styles. Here is a video that shows you how you can quickly put up your hair with a flexi clip.
You can see more ways to use the flexi clip on their you-tube channel, here. Any of these styles go up so quickly and are very easy to do. I must admit I am very impressed!
I give the flexi clip two thumbs up! 🙂
Sarah is giving two of my readers a flexi clip of your choice valued up to $16! (You may not enter to win, if you have won a Flexi from Lila Rose in the past six months.) Use rafflecopter below and enter for your chance to win!

You would be able to do your hair in a french twist instead of a bun with one of the larger clips. Just a tip! 🙂
I had never heard of Lila Rose. I would love to win one. I have started mostly wearing my hair up and I’m constantly having to redo it. This would be a wonderful tool for me. Thanks.
I love how it stayed put! My hair is crazy thick with lots of little lose ends all over the place, and the clip worked like a charm.
Looks like one clip does the trick! That’ll save time getting ready in the morning!
