As I write this I realize I am tired. Sleepy tired, with my eyes wanting to shut. Going to take a nap however isn’t an option thanks to a busy toddler and sweet little baby.
Motherhood is tiring. Many nights I’m asleep before my head hits the pillow (that’s how it feels anyway) and a baby who still needs fed during the night doesn’t help my tiredness.
But oh. I’m so blessed!
These little ones make my heart sing and hearing their chatter and coos is music to my soul. I don’t know what you call it when they’re both losing their minds and crying together though. 🙂

Kolton has this thing now where he comes up behind me when I’m sitting and he wraps his arms around my neck and hugs me. Melts my heart. He also takes after his mommy in the patience dept. “Mommy go!” he shouted from the back seat as we sat at a red light. :0 Um yeah, about that son…
How about you? Do you find yourself weary and tired? I thought this post from Mary-Andering Creatively was exactly what I needed to read. Mommy, Don’t Give Up!
And as for a chuckle, this tongue in cheek advice from Harvest Lane Cottage is quite amusing and a very good suggestion. Here’s how to increase your square footage of living space!
