So, I’m checking in for another fitness Friday and the big question right now is; “Am I getting shapely?”
Sure I am! Round is a shape!

Hehe!
All joking aside, I do think I am getting into a better shape. I haven’t been as worn out after the workouts and I am feeling a little better.
I’ve been using my ShapelyGirl work out DVD and walking a lot. In fact, my sis came up last weekend to help me with our garage sale and we walked to town twice. After all, what better thing to do with your sis than to go shopping?
So the walking to town? It’s about 10 minutes one way. But on the way back, especially if I buy groceries it takes a little longer. Not to mention the exercise your arms get. Whew!
So I think my average exercise time would be about 20-40 minutes a day. Since I also clean houses several days a week, I could ad that in too. Cleaning can wear you out, but it’s not really a good cardio like walking or the exercise DVD.
The eating part? Well I could be doing better. Even though dieting is out of the question for me, eating healthy is a good thing. When I am home, it’s easy to grab a light snack, we have healthy snacks so that is good. But when I am out cleaning and baby-sitting it’s way to easy to fall into the wait until I am starving, pull up to McDonnalds and buy a sandwich. And because I am so starved I snarf down my food which leaves me still feeling hungry and slows down my metabolism.
Goals for next week:
Continue getting at least 20-30 minutes of exercise each day.
Eat something healthy every 2-3 hours.
Limit fast food and easy (box or frozen) meals to one a week.
Let’s see how it goes! Oh, and I’ve still not got on the scales.

Hello, my name is Kendra. I am married to an amazing young man
named Jason, whom I lovingly call hubby when I’m writing. The only way I could ever explain our relationship is to use words like: crazy, silly, funny… well you get the point. He’s perfect for me!

I like to hear more about the little ole ladies you took the dvd to. What their reactions are and if the one will continue with you and if more will join in.
eating healthy when u’re on the run is the hardest ;/ i try to keep a protein shake around so i can get it for breakfast when i’m running late

Good for you getting in extra walking in addition to the video AND working!
Thanks
the work is tiring but not very conductive to weightloss. So walking and exercising is what I need.
Way to Go! I’ve been trying to move more as well and will be cheering you along as we are on this journey together.

Awesome! And thanks
I posted my 2nd week update tonight. I noticed we are using the same DVD. So I hope that we start losing some weight from it. I posted ALL my measurements and weight. I really want some results by the end of the month. I am not feeling too encouraged. My mom says it might be because I have been working out for several months now and maybe it is just not enough of a work out. I pray that you can keep with it.

I wonder if that’s the case for me as well. I’m pretty active as it is. I think I am just going to make it my goal to push harder. As in to wear myself out. I’ve already been adding more to the workout like higher impact and all. So I’m just going to push harder.
