Not much has changed in the past several thousand years. Wives have the same struggles today that they did then. In reading God’s word we can learn from wives of the bible.

We can read about wives who made wise choices and brought honor to their husbands, and we can read of foolish wives who shamed their husbands.
These stories are spread throughout the entire Bible and there are small (and large) lessons to be learned with each one. Learning from these wives of years ago can help us in our journey as wives today.
Learning from Wives of the Bible:
A couple of years ago, one of my favorite christian bloggers shared 25 different lessons from wives of the bible. I truly enjoyed the series, and when I learned those stories would be turned into a devotional, I just knew I had to share it!
Nearly a year later I’m finally doing it. After spending a bit of time refreshing my memories of this book, I’m more convinced than ever that you will love it!
Taken Directly from The Book:
“Each chapter in this book is a lesson. In the first part of the book you’ll read about wives who didn’t make the best choices in their marriages. Next you’ll learn about wives whose lives were hard; they endured great heartache and pain. These women will teach us how to respond in our marriage when we’re faced with adversity.”
You will learn from well-known wives of the bible such as Eve, Mary, and Ruth. Lesser known wives like Lot’s wife, and Job’s wife also have lessons to teach us.
The last chapter talks about the Christ’s bride of whom we are also a part.
There are 25 different lessons that we can learn from wives of the bible in this book. In reading this book, I found myself challenged to grow and mature as a wife.
Wives of the Bible is available in PDF download for reading on a computer, on Amazon Kindle and in a paperback version. Learn more at Wives of the Bible and purchase a copy for yourself!
