Let Your Thoughts be Prayers. MM #19

When you are thinking of your man, let your thoughts be prayers. If he has hurt you in some way, let those thoughts be prayers of forgiveness. If his photo makes you smile when you see it, let your thoughts be prayers of thanks giving to the God who created you for him. When you associate every thought of your husband to a prayer for him. You will see him in a different light.

Thanks to every-one who linked up last week. I realized to late that I didn’t send out the “the party is live, come link up” email. However, it seems like you all found it quite fine. By the way, the views on that post were crazy high! Higher than normal for sure! I guess you like reading about our goofy ways?

On to the Features!

let every thought, be a prayer

Gege, at The Heart of a Housewife,
shared her heart about being a loving wife.

“Behind every great man, is a great woman” However, she rephrased it to “Behind every loving husband there is a loving wife.”

Her thoughts are definitely something to ponder on, you can read her full post here.

Jaimie, at Living in the Light, talked about marriage being both a challenge and a blessing.

I think God often give us the spouse he has because that person has something to teach us, or because something about them helps us realize our own weaknesses and strengths.”

It was interesting to read because her thoughts were so much like mine have been the past few days. I agree with her in this as well; “marriage is one of the most effective ways God teaches us to be more like Jesus.” Very good thoughts, that I think you will enjoy as well. Read the rest here.

  4. Hello Kay!
Yes, my thoughts about my husband should be prayers…good thoughts. Thanks for the party, have a super blessed day!
    Love

  5. Thank you for featuring me, Kendra! I’m having trouble with the HTML for the “featured” button, however–it’s not showing up right on my blog. Any ideas?

    Thanks again! :)

    • I’m sorry. That button has given me issues from the start. :( Here are two suggestions though, Try going through the
html and deleting the (“) and then adding them right back, sometimes I think my editor changes the style of those quotes.
The only other thing I can suggest is to try dragging and dropping the button. Let me know if either one works. I think
I’m going to start putting the buttons in the side bar and maybe the html won’t get screwed up.

  6. Hi Kendra – Happy New Year! Hope you are doing well.

  7. thanks for this. i too want to be a Proverbs 31 wife. i will be one day, in the mean time i am doing my best a Proverbs 31 fiance :)

  10. Well, I got inspired after a read a comment on my Back Porchervations post that I linked here, so I started another blog, “Prayers for My Marriage”. :O)

  11. Update on my Back Porchervations post that I linked up here. I just found out it was featured on Bloggy Moms! (I included his hop’s button along with it and then tweeted and posted the news to FB as well). Just thought you’d like to know the Matrimonial Mondays theme was still reverberating through the internet. :O)

  12. Thank you for writing this! I am going to do this, making every thought of my husband into a prayer.
