Happy Monday friends! If you’ve got anything special you are thankful for, share it in the comments below! I for one and thankful for my unexpected 3 day weekend. Sometimes it’s nice to have a Friday at home with just me and the little guy.
In case you missed it, there is a giveaway going on for a baby wrap. It’s the one I use all the time and I love it. I also did a quick video to show you how I wear little man in it most of the time.
As well, I finally got around to sharing little k’s 3 month photo shoot. 1/2 a month later. 😛
And for our features. You know, some weeks it’s really hard to choose features. I like to rotate around who I feature, so sometimes I see a good post but since that blog was featured a month ago I feel like I need to choose a different one. Other times no one post stands out to me at all.
However, this week was not that way. From the moment I started reading each one of these posts I just knew that they were the ones that needed to be shared.
2 years ago I felt the need to loose 20 pounds, otherwise I would be buying a new wardrobe. I was able to loose it, but it wasn’t easy. Over at Sunny Patch Cottage I read about Mrs Abella”s weightloss journey and I mentally cheered her on as I read. And I chuckled over her walks and the little “yipper snappers” as well. 🙂
At An Everyday Blessing, they are growing their family by adoption. They already have one son and were a week away from submitting completed paperwork for a second adoption. The post is title Our Family is Growing by Two Feet. Such a wonderful surprise for a family who thought they couldn’t have biological children!
Thanks for your blog Kendra. I’m thankful of course for my family. I’m also thankful for a women’s retreat I went on a couple of weeks ago. I originally didn’t want to go but the Lord arranged for me to go and I’m glad I did. The Lord revealed some things I really needed to work on.
I love it when the Lord works things out like that for us. He truly knows just what we need!
I am so thankful for an immune system. Seriously, our whole family is sick right now. As we did our family devotional yesterday, we were giving praise to God for designing an immune system for the human race–without which, we would all have perished a long time ago.
And #34 on your list! This will be so helpful!
Thank you for the link-up Kendra.
Blessings,
🙁 Being sick is no fun at all! But maybe you will get the sickies out of the way now and can enjoy the holiday season in full health. 🙂
Thanks for the link-up. (So sorry Google is giving you trouble). My post is called 31 Things I Thank God For. Our blessings are far too numerous to count, aren’t they? Blessings to you and yours.
Kendra, these days I’m feeling so thankful for the several little and big ways God has proven himself faithful lately. Especially for my husband – there were many things that were discouraging him and weighing him down, but lately it seems like God is taking care of one thing after another in ways bigger than we expected. I’m having a lot of Praise God! moments. 😀
