Hello friends, did you have a nice weekend? We sure did! Beautiful weather and celebrating the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I’m always a little sad to see the weekend come to an end. Not because I hate Mondays or anything, but because weekends are when Jason and I get to work together on Saturday to get stuff done and then Sundays we go to church, rest, take walks and other stuff. It’s just “our time”.
However…. the weekend is at it’s end and now it’s time to look at the coming week. Whew! boy is it busy. We are planning to have a garage sale next weekend and I have all my stuff in a pile, but nothing priced yet. Other tasks are calling my name along with something huge right here in the blogging world!
“What” you ask? Well, only the coolest thing ever for homemakers! A bundle that completely pays for itself in bonuses alone. 🙂 I got an early look and even early access to some of them and let me tell you, they are awesome! For more information on this sale and the bonuses that are with it, check this out!
Now, on to our features from the last two linkups:
From Whole Hearted Homemaking comes a post on Half Hearted Cleaning…. Hmmm. I was actually a bit scared to read this post 🙂
But what I found was encouraging and helpful.
Let me ask you; what holds you back from cleaning your home?
For me, I am just so worn out right now and there is a lot to clean (even in a small home). So it just seemed easier to ignore the dirt completely.
Judith offered great encouragement and some wonderful tips on Whole Hearted cleaning. Even when it just don’t seem possible.
I don’t want to take away from her post, so let me just encourage you to check it out for yourself and to be assured that judging isn’t her way. 🙂
The second feature comes from a blog I hadn’t ever read before: Operation Wife.
Her first sentence sucked me in and kept me reading. Why is the Devil so Interested? Something she had been through recently left her feeling battle scarred, old, worn out and not herself.
She wasn’t any big spiritual person, she didn’t lead crowds of people to Christ, or really do much to put herself in the cross hairs of the devil so to say. So why? Why her? Why did Satan want to take her down so badly?
Her words often echoed my own heart and made me wonder what she had been through. (A quick peek in the menu bar will tell you). But I want to encourage you dear readers, go read her post. Find out why the devil will work so hard just to take one small person down. And then, the good news that follows. 🙂
