Scarf and Scripture Swap + free printable!

Last month I signed up for another swap. I keep saying I need to stop doing this because I have to much to do as it is. But, I am a glutton for punishment. I mean can you blame me? A scarf and Scripture swap?!

I signed up at The Fontenot Four for this swap. And two weeks later, I was paired with the lovely Carly from Texas Lovebirds.

We emailed back and forth a bit trying to decide what each others colors and styles were. Exchanged addresses and went shopping ;)

We were supposed to send each other a favorite scripture verse and scarf.

The verse Carly sent me was one I rarely think about. And, one I should consider a little more often. :)

The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still. ~Exodus 14:14

I looked at that verse and had to chuckle to myself. So many times I will fight and fight and fight because I “just know” this is God’s will. And all the time he is waiting on my to give him the battle. Can any-one relate?

And the scarf? I love it! It actually coordinates nicely with several dresses I already have. I took some pictures of myself “modelling” the scarf. Yeah, there’s a reason I’m not a fashion blogger!

Any way, at least the scarf is pretty. I had specified solids because I wear a lot of prints and don’t like to pair prints together.  The photo shows the color a bit brighter than it really is too, but I sure like it. In fact I’ve worn it several time already. :)

You will have to pop over to Carly’s blog to see the scarf I sent her. But the scripture part I am putting here. I made it into a printable for her. I tried to use the colors she has on her blog as inspiration.
