It’s Saturday Caturday!
I love animals, all animals, but cats in particular. Now, I know not every likes cats. In fact, if you don’t like cats, you probably hate them. So if you don’t like cats then you may want to click the “back” button and go read a different post
Ok now that we’ve gotten rid of the haters, I am assuming only cat lovers are left and we can continue with this post.
When we got our kitty she was just about 6 weeks old and little more than a puff-ball. She would follow us everywhere crying to be held, so we may have kinda, just a little bit spoiled her.
I mean, look at her. Wouldn’t you have spoiled her too?
Riding on our shoulders was her favorite thing to do, and she rode around on our shoulders until she was a half-grown cat and got to big.
The interesting thing is, we never really named her. I wanted to call her Princess but hubby didn’t seem to think that fit her. He said, and I quote, “lets wait until we get to know her cat-ality better”. We got to calling her little ol’ puffy kitty and would you know… it stuck. So now we have a very sleek cat that answers to the name Puffy Kitty!
Try calling the vet and when they ask for the pet’s name, tell them Puffy Kitty. Oh and then bring the cat in and watch their faces when they see the name on the chart and a very sleek cat! Ha ha! talk about a funny reaction!
So, what is her “cat-ality” like? Should we have named her Princess? Well, you tell me.
I walked out into my living room the other day and this is what I see.
The silly cat!
So I hope you enjoyed this rather random post. And if you have a pet with a unique name I would love to hear it.
I link up at these Parties!

Hello, my name is Kendra. I am married to an amazing young man
named Jason, whom I lovingly call hubby when I’m writing. The only way I could ever explain our relationship is to use words like: crazy, silly, funny… well you get the point. He’s perfect for me!

Aww that cat is adorable! Neither of our kittens liked to hang out on our shoulders when they were kittens. But now that they are full grown cats my husband has let one of them (Finnegan) learn the bad habit of wanting to climb up onto your shoulders if you pick him up. He mostly hangs out, riding around on JonMarke’s shoulders all the time now! There’s a cute picture of it in this post if you want to see

Ah yes, I remember that post. Puck is so pretty. (for a cat I mean) lol
I don’t love cats, but kittens are soooo adorable! I like having some cats around to keep down other critters like mice! My cats have to be outside-farm cats, though!
Your cat is very pretty and was, of course, a darling kitten!
We had a dog named Sprocket that was a very special friend and pet to our kiddos! My daughter read a book about a dog named Sprocket.
We have a cat right now named Unusual and one named Independent. My daughter does a lot of the naming and she comes up with some classics! We also have one named Turquoise.

Unusual and independent…. gotta love what kids chose to name their pets.
I’m not a huge animal lover but kitties are super cute. I just don’t like them tearing up my hydrangea bushes!

Hi Kendra, your cat looks really pretty. I love dogs though, but still waiting to get one.

What kind of dog are you wanting to get?
So adorable! Thought this was a funny story and I can imagine how funny it would be to tell the vet office the cat’s name is puffy cat haha. Speaking of the word funny…one of the cats in the colony that I am caring for outside we have named “Funny Face”. Just didn’t know what to call that one , and it has a sort of odd face where the one side is white(with an eye that is rimmed in pink with white lashes) and the other side is tiger striped with an eye that is outlined in black. I can imagine what the vet will think when we take “funny face” in to get fixed
We mean it in the most endearing way though. I just think of the Audrey Hepburn/Fred Astaire musical of the same name when I think of that cat!
well in the past (unique cat names) we’ve had: Hot Rod and Mouthy. We had a stray come up we named Coon. An abandon cat from a moving out neighbor we called “Big-Fat-Ugly-Bug-Face-Baby-Eating O’Brien”, O’Brien for short (who was a one eyed cat and would run into things sometimes, but really sweet). Our current one is Atomic Fuzzball. Fuzzy for short. She is no longer a fuzz ball like she was when named. LOL! Love your kitty by the way. I think she looks like a princess, maybe you could call her princess puffy kitty

Well we should call her Princess and that’s the truth! You really do have some funny named pets! I remember when I was younger there was a cat we named Ugly Cat and she really was the ugliest thing you ever saw, but, really one of the best cats we had
We had a lovely golden retriever and that was all the pet we needed. Then one day husband goes to get dog food and our local pet store had a kitty from the shelter living there til it found a home. Next thing you know we had Trillium… who we call Trilly… which is funny because she sits at the window and Trills. She also answers to Princess Puff. Then a friend from the shelter told us they were overwhelmed with kittens and could we foster just for a little while. We wound up with this scraggly black, undersized kitten with a runny nose and blinky eyes. The golden retriever adopted him a dn then there were three pets. We called him Spock but he also answers to BudBud and Baby (much to Husband’s disapproval)

Ooo princess puff is a good one! Love how you randomly got your pets, that’s what happened with us too. I saw a bunch of kittens that needed a home ended up bringing one home!
