Sunday Walks

man and woman making a face at each other

One of hubby and I’s favorite thing to do, is take nature/Sunday walks. Admittedly as noisy as we are, we scare off all nature that can run or fly away, but we still enjoy it. A couple Sundays ago, my mom and the kids came up, and we all decided to go for a walk. The boys had binoculars and mom, sis and I had cameras. Yup, fun fun! I thought I would share a few, because, well, we are [...]

Sailing in Key West

sailing in Key West

While on vacation we like to experience new things. One was the the time we went sailing in Key West. The other thing we really enjoyed was snorkeling but I could share photos of that. Sooo, we went sailing. Not once, or even twice, but three times!  Admittedly there was a “frequent sail” program that make the second trip cheaper and the third one free, but still, we really enjoyed it. Enough that I am designating a whole post to [...]

Don’t Lose Touch MM #23

don't lose touch

Right now it’s easy, we don’t have kids (unless fur-babies count), and we spend a lot of time together. But what about when there are children in the picture? Both of today’s features, mention ways to spend time together so you don’t lose touch. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did. Megan at Here’s to You Mrs. Robinson shared her post Who did you Marry? I found it interesting in the fact that she mentions most [...]

Have Fun Together! MM #18

Laughing during a photo shoot

If you were to ask what is the most unique thing about our relationship, I would definitely say it’s how we have fun together. We were friends first. It was not a case of love at first sight. If you are a veteran reader here, you will remember The Dorky Looking Guy! Having been friends first, it gave me a chance to get to know him.  We weren’t trying to impress each other as often happens when you are dating. [...]

Can You Fall Out of Love?

Fall out of love?

Can a Couple Fall Out of Love? We hear the term “fall in love” used a lot, but do people fall out of love? Or does “falling” have anything to do with love? I’ve wonder about that for awhile now and I still really don’t have an answer. But I do know this, Love is a choice. I don’t think “warm and fuzzy” was how God felt when he sent his son for our redemption, and I’m positive that’s not [...]

Our Love Story Plus Link-up!

Oregon '08

Last Thursday I told ya’ll how Jason and I met, and what my first impression of him was. Good thing impressions can change. This is the rest of our love story! We had a lot of fun that summer. Renae and I would often invite him to join us when we went to young folks. There was about 8-12 of us that would hang out together then, so I got to know Jason pretty well as a friend. There were [...]

Welcome to August!

engagement 08

I can hardly believe August is here already! I’m not ready for August to be here, no, not at all. But since August is here, I’ll just have to go with the flow. August is hubby and I’s anniversary, we will be celebrating 4 yrs together. In honor of that, I have a few fun things planned. On the 29th I plan on hosting a link up where you can share your love stories. I can’t wait to read them [...]

Springtime on the Farm

DSCN5400

Growing up on a farm I remember spring as one of my favorite seasons.   The baby animals were the main reason. However, calves and baby chicks are not near as cute as the babies we saw yesterday. Warning, these pictures may cause cuteness overload! These are haired sheep, they shed their coats in the spring and because their tails don’t need cropped they look like goats during the summer. A brand new baby! Aren’t they just too cute! Shy [...]

A Springtime Walk

DSCN5248

Quality Time = A closer relationship/friendship. Something hubby and I both love is nature, walking around parks and in the woods make us happy.  Many times we just walk, we don’t usually talk about anything deep or meaningful at all, “Look over there at those two birds” and “Smell this flower!” are about the extent of our conversations.   Sometimes we pretend to push each other off the path; or if there is water nearby, we may try to get the [...]
