Today’s quick tip belongs in housekeeping for dummies; with me being the dummy.
See this?
That’s my sweeper, and I love it.
On Saturday, I cut my dear hubby’s hair. Then I used the sweeper to clean up my mess. So far so good, right? Then I goofed, really goofed.
You see, I left the sweeper sitting right there where you see it in the picture. Right where we always walk to go to the kitchen.
To show you just where it’s at in our house, here is another picture.
Where I’m standing to take this picture, is where I was Saturday night, when all the light’s were off and I was half asleep, heading to the kitchen for a drink.
KER POWIEE! Then OWIE!
Yeah folks, it’s not a good idea to leave things sitting out.
Needless to say; Lesson Learned. At least for now!

Hello, my name is Kendra. I am married to an amazing young man
named Jason, whom I lovingly call hubby when I’m writing. The only way I could ever explain our relationship is to use words like: crazy, silly, funny… well you get the point. He’s perfect for me!

Hi! I’m loving this post! I have the same problem.. sometimes I’m lazy…but I’m trying to be more organized!!

Gege, thanks for stopping by
The problem with me is I am usually very organized, I think that is why I ran into the sweeper
Oh ouch! Sorry girl! haha… that is just a little but funny though… as long as you weren’t really hurt.

Nope! wasn’t really hurt, just annoyed and very startled.
It really is the obvious things that we overlook in housekeeping, isn’t it?! I love this! It’s nice to know this happens in places other than just my house.
You popped over to my blog via the hop, and I am glad I popped over to yours. I look forward to following along!

Yes Christina, it does indeed happen at other place
I leave my sweeper out SO many times! I hate seeing it sit out but there is always one more thing that I need to do with it. Then I never get that one more thing done and I don’t go back and put the sweeper away either:( I’ve started making The Teenager do it a lot of the time. Hey I might as well let her while she still lives here!!
Love this post that you linked up with us @ Toot Your Horn Tuesday. Sometimes it is the little things…and, sometimes you have to…just laugh
Thanks so much for joining us. Look forward to seeing more from you!
