20 Weeks down, 20 Weeks to go!

Yay! We’ve got 20 weeks down and that means half way there. 🙂

20 Weeks and going strong!

So what’s been happening?

  • Bump is growing
  • I’ve gained 8? pounds at this point (Not totally sure, because my scales is funky.)
  • I have felt the baby move a couple times (totally weird!)
  • Heart rate for baby is 150-160
  • Wearing my “fat” dresses full time (I can still wear the others, but they are no longer comfortable)
  • Morning Sickness is on it’s way out with just a bit of queasiness here and there
  • Still hungry all of the time
  • Back to eating some chocolate, but the dark still doesn’t taste the same
  • Hubby accused me of waddling the other day, but I think he was teasing (I hope!)
  • I still think it’s a boy
  • Nursery is looking better, but still not ready to share any photos
  • According to the app on my phone, baby will reach 6.5 inches and 10.6 oz this week!

Here’s something for you though; I must have been in a goofy mood because a thought occurred to me and I thought it funny enough to share with the family. I started with my little brothers, ” Hey buddy, did you know if you and I got into an argument, I would win?” They couldn’t see how I would win, the answer was simple: “Two against one!”. They thought it was funny, my sis and mom rolled their eyes. One of the older brothers was not impressed, 2o minutes later he makes a remark to the effect of “yeah, since we just went back to 1st grade”.  His wife however laughed and reminded us of what we already knew, he has no sense of humor. 🙂

Jason on the other hand, laughed, but reminded me that he was usually right and I wrong, so in this case majority didn’t rule! 🙂 lol Yeah, I really do come up with lame stuff at times!

How exciting! I have had 5 girls and 2 boys and that heartbeat shouts Girl Girl Girl 😀
Enjoy the journey of Motherhood. There is no greater calling.

Thanks Jana! I know the faster heart rate often means girl, but since both of my little brothers had a heart beat in that range, I’m not too sure 🙂 I’ll be happy either way, but somehow I still feel it will be a boy 🙂

So exciting! I remember when I found out I was pregnant and went to tell my mom. As I was leaving in the car, she reminded me that I was now driving for two and had to be extra careful! 🙂

You’re life is forever changed! Congrats! Can’t wait to see the nursery!

Thanks Jill, I’m thinking it’s pretty good as well. I know at some point it’s definitely going to pick up, but I’m enjoying it while I can!

    Totally sweet picture, Kendra!

I know everyone gives you advice (some welcome, some not so much) when you are preggers about what you should do. I’m going to go the other route and advise you not to do to Jason what I did to Chris when our second was being born. I dislocated his finger! Don’t mess with a pregnant woman! :O)

      You definitely should! 🙂
One good thing though, is even though I’m still hungry a lot, I don’t feel so nauseous the minute I feel hungry. Before it was horrible, in that I had to have food with me all the time. Now, I can deal with the hunger for awhile…

So exciting. I can’t wait to hear more about the nursery and baby. Congratulations. I don’t think I’ve had the chance to tell you! I haven’t been online much. It’s been a great break!
