Now for the giveaway I promised. You may have noticed it in the photos above. The green strainer with my cooked spaghetti in it. Yeah, yeah, I know you are wondering what’s so special about that strainer. 🙂

Okay, wait for it, wait for it…. It collapses! Yes, you have the full size function of a strainer with the space saving ability to collapse! I have a large bulky strainer that is pretty and matches my dishes. To use it, I much pull two other bulky bowls out at the same time while trying not to break anything. It worked, but it was inconvenient.

Space saving #kitchenhacks

The space saver strainer pops open for use, then smashes flat for storage. Look! I can hang it right inside my cupboard door, virtually wasted space until now.

You should totally enter to win below. But if you don’t win, I have a deal to share with you. The strainer retails for $14.77 on Amazon, but you can purchase it on the MagicMil site for $13.77!

Just a few specs before you enter.

1. Made of high quality food grade silicone
2. Do not exceed 400F or below -40F
3. Safe to use in the oven, microwave oven, dishwasher or freezer.
4. Heat resistant handle so you don’t need gloves
5. Easy clean in the dishwasher or push the inside layers in the opposite straining direction and rinse.

Your chunky sauce looks amazing. I used to make my own sauce, but have gotten so busy that I’ve been cheating and using premade. I should get back to making it from scratch and make it chunky like yours.

Your homemade sauce looks a lot like my homemade sauce, except I also add eggplant and zucchini. I love the meaty texture they add which makes it a great dish for Meatless Monday. Thanks for posting on Project Inspired.
