In reading through the wonderful posts that were linked up, I noticed a theme among a few of them. Forgiveness and marriage. If you want a good marriage, there must be forgiveness.

I thought I would share two of them that really spoke to my heart.

At 31 Cups, Gretchen shared her post, Muddled love and Forgiving your Spouse.

forgiveness and marriage

She shares about her favorite place in the whole world, her “other home” as you are reading, it feels as though you could be right there with her.

She was going to go there with her girl friends for a much needed retreat and then life happened, not her husbands fault, but she realized that she had never truly forgiven him.

For a truly uplifting post about forgiveness and marriage, click over and read it. 🙂

The other post I want to share; also about marriage and forgiveness.

Amanda at Mommy in the Making shared How she has evolved as a Wife.

It all started with the towels, he didn’t fold them right, crazy man, don’t he know that towels HAVE to be folded this way?

As I’m reading this post, my heart is struck through because I realized in some ways I am just like that.  I loved how she shared her realization that she needed his forgiveness, she was the one in the wrong and not him.

I totally know where Amanda is coming from because I am that way too at times.  This post is definitely a must read!

If you were featured, Yay! You can find the featured and the party buttons in my side bar, so grab a button and share it!

On to Matrimonial Monday, please remember to visit and comment on the post linked up before you. While my co-host and I love reading every post, we simply cannot comment on every-one. So share your posts and be inspired by what others share. 🙂
