A review of Good Neighbors Candles, a giveaway, and the Shopping Saturday linkup!
A couple weeks ago an Etsy shop called Good Neighbors Candles linked up to Shopping Saturday. As always I clicked the link and looked through the shop. I found myself very impressed. Not only were there candles, but also soaps, lotions and beautiful photography note-cards.
When I went back and looked at the candles again I noticed they were high quality soy candles and not made with cheap paraffins. I had been looking for a gift to send my secret sister and thought one of these candles would be a great gift. So I ordered one and had it shipped straight to her. I was even able to request a note be sent with the gift!
I then contacted the owner of Good Neighbors Candles and offered to review her products. She sent me several to review and is also giving one lucky reader a candle as well! Keep reading to find the giveaway. 🙂
I was sent three different candles to review. Country Apple, Country Bumpkin, and Coconut Joy.
I loved how the Coconut Joy smelled, I think it was my favorite scent. It was in a 8oz. jelly jar with bronze cut lid so I could burn the candle with the lid on if I wanted. Pretty and functional. This candle is the only one I have burnt much so far and it burns very cleanly and even while burning the smell was never overpowering. Some candles are too strong when burning, but this one was perfect.
The Country Apple was in a 4oz hexagon jar and I love the fall smell of it.
The Country Bumpkin was in a 6oz tin and hubby couldn’t quit sniffing it. He loves cinnamon so this one was definitely his favorite. I teased him that if he didn’t stop, he would soon have all the smell sniffed out!
Those are also available in larger sizes, tarts, and tea lights. And if you don’t see the scent you want in the size you want, Becky is happy to customize!
You can order candles with wood, hemp or cotton wicks. Which is really cool because I’m a huge fan of the wood wick candles. I little tricky perhaps, but sooo cool!
Becky is offering my readers a 10% discount to her shop. Use promo code Tryme10 for the discount.
I also wanted to mention that Becky’s business name and label design has been stolen and Dollar stores sell cheap knock-offs. Please know you can only buy Good Neighbors Candles on her Etsy shop, website and a few other select stores in Lancaster county PA.
Now, I promised a giveaway didn’t I? Becky from Good Neighbors Candles is giving away a 12oz Wildflower candle to one lucky reader! Enter via the Rafflecopter form below. Scroll on down for the shopping link-up!
