After my posts on Good Girl Books and Good Boy Books, I had a couple requests for Good Teen Books.
I have to admit, getting together a list of good teen books wasn’t easy. A. it’s been some time since I was a teenage girl, and B. I have never been a teenage boy! 😛
But after careful consideration, a good study of my bookcase, and remembering books my mom bought for my brothers; as well as generally recognizing some authors as “trusted”, I managed to get a list put together.
As usual, the following books are linked to Amazon where you can read reviews and also purchase. The following links are all affiliate links and help support this site at no extra cost to you.

Like I said, I don’t have a very big list for good teen books, but I truly do recommend both the Ludys and Joshua Harris as authors. If you know of other books that you would recommend, leave me a comment and let me know!
Your teen-girl list is faaaaaantastic! Since I didn’t begin following Jesus until my sophomore year of college, I read most of these in my 20s (some, after I got married), and I have bought I-don’t-know-how-many copies of Leslie Ludy’s & Elizabeth George’s books for the teen ladies that I mentor now. I’ll buy myself a new copy, reread it, then give it away when someone asks for a recommendation…and generally repeat the cycle (sometimes I get them back…but I never expect it!).
One that I would add is Dannah Gresh’s “And the Bride Wore White”, although I’d really recommend it for older teenagers, because of some of the topics covered. Excellent resource, though. Elizabeth George has another one “Beautiful In His Eyes: The Treasures of the Proverbs 31 Woman” that a mom or mentor could definitely read with a young lady. It’s one of my favorites to reread (…but I lent that one out recently, too 😀 )
Great list! Thank you!!

Yeah, any of the authors above, I basically recommend all of their books. 🙂
I don’t think I have ever heard of “And the Bride Wore White” I may have to look into that one 🙂
