Homemaker’s Dream Gift List!

I am a homemaker at heart.

I remember that on day 4 of our honeymoon I woke up and wanted to go home. Why? Because there was a darling little rented duplex just waiting on my hands to turn it into a home.

I was homesick for a home I hadn’t yet made.

Even though I spent the first 7 years of our married life working full-time plus, via 2 and 3 different jobs at the same time, I still longed for home.

I consider myself to be “living the dream” now that I’m home full-time.

Admittedly there are days when I want to run away from adulting, but that happened before I became a stay at home mom so no surprise there. ๐Ÿ™‚

Below I’ve put together a Homemaker’s Dream Gift List. These are ideas you can give family members for yourself, or ideas for you use when buying for others.

Homemaker’s Dream Gift List

I hope this guide will help you with your gift-making decisions this year, and if it does, would you please share it with others? Thanks!

Thrill the homemakers on your list with this Homemaker's dream gift list. Or just use it to drop hints to your friends or significant other. :)

Aprons! I love my aprons, and Amazon has so many fun, flirty and vintage style aprons to choose from.

Tupperware Food Processor. I received mine as a shower gift and still use it all the time! I can make a batch of fresh salsa with it in less than a minute or two. I also use it for mixing fruit into yogurt and making puddings, as well as other things. Here’s the one I have.

Silicone Basting Brushes. I recently ordered this set and I’m in love! No more losing bristles from the brush on your food. Best of all, they work even better in my opinion. Found here.

Norwex is the perfect gift for homemakers! Chemical free homes are important and Norwex makes that happen!

Little Dipper Crockpot. Seriously, this thing is perfect for dips and sauces and such a fun gift idea too!

Professional Pizza Cutter. My mom makes amazing pizza and I gave her this pizza cutter for her birthday. She was thrilled!

Amazon Prime Membership. Amazon Prime is the best thing since sliced bread! As a busy mom, I don’t always have time to run out and go shopping for different things as I need them. Many times I’m able to find a great deal on Amazon and in 2 days I have the item, no shipping cost makes it great!

Of course, Prime offers more than free two-day shipping. Like access to over a million ad-free songs, free photo storage, thousands of streaming movies and shows and free kindle books each month. Gift instructions here.

Robotic Vacuum. A sweeper is a bit of a bummer present as it just represents more work. Give a vacuum that does the work for you if you really want to impress. ๐Ÿ™‚ We love our Bob!

Essential Oil Diffuser. Like most homemakers, I like my house to smell great. But candles are a big no-no for me as the synthetic scents really mess me up. Essential oils do not and I have diffusers all through the house. I love this large diffuser that runs in the main area.

Baking Mats. I love my silicone baking mats, they make cleanup a breeze and foods never stick to them. Double win in my opinion!

Lilla Rose Hair Clips. Homemakers are busy and we just cannot spend great amounts of time on our hair. Lilla Rose makes it easy to create a classy style in just a few minutes. Shop Lilla Rose here.

Photo Gifts from Shutterfly. I love Shutterfly. I’ve used them for printing photos, creating books and all sorts of neat personalized gift options. They’ve added a few new products that are just cool too!

Homemaker’s Friend Daily Planner. Years ago when Sue first asked me to review her planner I said no. I didn’t like planners and didn’t figure I would like hers.

She responded saying she would like to send me one anyway as she thought I would like it. I agreed to her sending me one, but made no promises. After a week of using her planner, I was hooked. I still use the Homemaker’s Friend planner and now my mom does too!

I just wanted to say thank you for the “Flirty Aprons” site. I’m always looking for new aprons! I’ve made a couple myself, but it’s always nice to have a store-bought one as my sewing needs practice. And the one I looked at was only $35.00. My last apron, I paid $30.00 and it was much plainer, so they aren’t expensive. Thanks!

Oh I love mine! I’m 6 months pregnant in that photo but it still fits me really nice. And it was just as cute when I wasn’t preggers ๐Ÿ™‚

From Homemaker’s Depot, I’d like the lunchbox book… or the one about gluten-free cooking, or Gracia’s herbs. And… oh! Lots of goodies there. But I knew that. ๐Ÿ˜‰
On my homemaking wishlist is a manual grain mill, and a food dehydrator. Saving my pennies… ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh my goodness! I love my excalibur dehydrator, if you search my site you will find a review I posted after buying mine. As for a grain mill, why the manual? Is it better? I have an electric one that I love, but curious about the manual.

Oh, I do have an electric one – a WonderMill, and I like it. The manual would be for emergencies and such… so far, we have been blessed when there was a power failure; we got back “on” pretty quickly. But what if not… having a sack full of grains but nothing to mill it with? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Something like that. It’s part of my “what-if” wish list. ๐Ÿ™‚

Ah… gotcha! We have a manual grinder that was Jason’s Grandpa’s. It’s nice and works in a pinch, I’m spoiled though and like my wonder mill.

Such fun items! I wouldn’t mind having the planner as I have the 2015 and I love using it. The Keeper Series book on Caregiving and Planning would be great.

I love planners. The one thing I would love as a homemaker would be another me. There is just not enough of me to be a full time worker, wife, mom AND homemaker. And my homemaking skills are awful, which is why I need a planner. ๐Ÿ˜

I think those planners are awesome! Everything you have on your list, even though I’m not a SAHM, is awesome. I am a big fan of cooking and baking and think that so many of those would just make it more fun!

Several of the items on your list would be great additions to my list (who can choose just one, right) but the top of my list would have to be a selection of essential oils to help keep my family, critters, and home healthy.

And from Homemakers Depot, the book Caregivers. I recently lost my mom and was her caregiver for her last days. The experience understandably changed me, in ways I am still discovering. I think this would be both an encouragement and an eye-opener.

I’d really like some new Welcome mats for my house. I am also a big fan of throw pillows, so those are on my list every year. From your suggestion list, I would take almost any item from Dayspring!
