Have you have you ever realized that you can forgive others easily, but you had to learn to forgive yourself?
One of the things that I love about blogging, is how many wonderful and talented Christian women I have met. One of those women would be Leslie from Be Simply Better.
A couple of weeks ago, she made the exciting announcement that her 3rd book was finished and she would be launching it soon. She asked if there were any of us interested in reading her book and adding a few comments to it.
After I read her book, I emailed her and asked for some more of the launch information. You see, I found a lot of good in her book and knew that you, my readers may find it very helpful.
If you have had to learn to forgive yourself, or are still trying to forgive yourself, you will find wonderful encouragement and help in Leslie’s book.
“Forgive Yourself” is divided into 3 simple, easy-to-read sections;
Confront the Past.
Know You are Forgiven.
Leave it In the Past.
I found it easy to relate to her book; there were phrases that jumped out at me and I found myself thinking “I could have written this”! “The past creeps in and haunts me, whispering past wrongs or blaring a never-ending sound track of everything I have ever done wrong. For me I have a highlight reel playing some sins I still remember after almost 30 years.” Does that sound like you as well?
If you are struggling with your past. If you feel that you do not deserve to be forgiven. If you don’t know how to forgive yourself. And if you want to learn to forgive yourself, this is the book for you.
