After close to 4 years of working at Little lighthouse Preschool, my last day is today. I know I am making the right choice in where I am going with my life, but that doesn’t make the pain of saying goodbye any easier.
The staff there have been amazing. Sometimes I felt like I had a sister and several moms when I went to work! It is a blessing when you can work with a group of women who all share your love for the Lord and the desire to care for children and teach them of God. I have been blessed in so many ways by working at LL and God has been good!
I went through the pictures I have from my yrs there and pulled out a few to share. I only had one of my self so I will share that one last (It’s funny) but here are a few of the kids playing outside.
We had a private helicopter land in the field beside our play ground. #eventful-day
Little kid was determined to give his teacher a ride on his 2-seater bike!
We always have something fun going on,
Here we had 2 piglets come in and pay a visit. 🙂
Every year we celebrate Dr. Suess birthday with a very unique cake and a week of fun activities.
We always take such fun field trips in the summer time. This was a huge garden center in Dayton.
Little kids dream; a boat you can row and not fall out of!
Cute kids:
These 2 said they were “getting married” 🙂
My little friend with my sunglasses 🙂
Another thing that I will really miss: Every year I held a “Princess Party” at my house for the little girls. I don’t know how had the most fun, me or the girls!
Those were pics from 3 different years and I don’t think they were in order.
Now I promised here is the only pic I have of myself at the daycare. It was dress up day and the theme was pirates!
This pic still makes me laugh!
So today is my last day and I am sooo sad. I know there are good things in my future and I am looking forward to it but good-byes are always sad.
Oh wow! Looks like you’ve had a lot of fun over the years. A Helicopter? I bet the kids loved that! Good luck in all your future endeavors!! I’m sure great things are coming your way. =)
I love the princess party pictures, and you look like a very friendly pirate. Argh! 🙂
Ha, ha, ha, Kendra! Forgive me but I couldn’t help it. You look funnily beautiful! And you seem to have a way with children. I pray you find fulfillment in your future.
God’s grace and speed!
Hehehe I don’t know about the beautiful part but I do know I looked funny 🙂 The kids loved it and I got a couple good laughs so that’s what counts.
I agree you do look funnily beautiful!!!!!! I know you are sad about leaving BUT also excited about your future. I applaud you for following what you feel called to do for your family!!!!! Love ya girl!!
