Oh my goodness you guys! This is the 200th linkup posted here and some kind of celebration is in order. Problem is I have about 1 hours to get this written and scheduled before leaving for the weekend.
So not much time for planning a celebration. However I do have a little something in mind. Leave a comment telling me how long you’ve been linking up here (or simply reading if you are not a blogger) and I’ll draw one person to receive a little something fun from me! (I’ll draw a winner on Friday)
In light of this momentous milestone I looked through past Living Proverbs 31 and chose a couple to reshare below.
There were several posts that really seemed to resonate well with you guys but I’m pretty sure no one has time to read them all. So I chose 3 of my personal favorites and here they are below:
Does he care about me? As a new wife I was determined to be the best wife ever and it seemed like I was succeeding, at least in part. But he wasn’t even trying. I mean he went to work, came home and enjoyed all my wifely ministrations but never even tried to be a good husband. Here’s how I finally realized what a good man I had married.
What we leave behind. After walking through an old abandoned house that in spite of its dilapidated condition was clearly once a beautiful place to live, I just kept thinking about the things we leave behind. You can read my musings and see the photos here.
Pride kept me from having babies. We were married well over 5 years before having children. Mostly by choice. We wanted a few years as a couple and then because my hardworking hubby didn’t quite bring home enough I still had to work.
At the time it seemed like we were doing the right thing, but later realized that we weren’t letting God be God. Instead we were trying to do it all on our own. Fortunately it’s never too late to humble our pride and I’m so blessed by my sons.
So there you have it, 3 of my top posts from previous linkups. Don’t forget to comment below and then link up your posts! Link up a really old but popular one too if you like!
