Hello all!
I hope your weekend was restful and refreshing. Ours wasn’t exactly restful, but it was certainly wonderful!
It’s back to cold weather here again, how wonderful is that? Not! At least my daffodils appear to be staying put and not freezing over. I do want them to bloom though!
Please tell me I’m not the only one looking forward to spring blooms. 🙂
No post today, like I said, my weekend wasn’t exactly restful! However I do have a post coming on Monday just full of tax time tips for bloggers and direct sales reps, so if you fall into either category, I hope it will be helpful to you!
Here is today’s linkup for you. Remember that all family friendly posts are permitted. I share 2 favorite or top clicked posts every other week so make sure to share!
Wondering what I look for in a posts to feature?
- Easy to read. No huge run-on sentences, no more than 3 or 4 sentences to a paragraph. If I go to read a post and it’s a “wall of words”, my eyes go crazy and I end up leaving the page without even reading it.
- Clean language. I’ve been reading posts before on Christian blogs and nodding my head in agreement, words right to my heart, I think I will share or feature, and then BOOM! Curse words. Not just slang, but curse words. It may be a good post, but I’m not going to recommend it if there are curse words.
- A Point or subject. I really enjoy reading your weekend “life updates” posts, after all, that’s exactly what I make this post sometimes. But I’m not going to feature it.
- Household/homemaking tips and recipes. I love featuring your “straight to the heart” inspirational posts, but we all love a good recipe too!
By the way, I know I’ve said it before, but I’ll mention it again. I do read most of your posts. If you have the “click to tweet” links in there, I’ll tweet them out, and I’ll often pin homemaking tips or recipes. But I don’t often comment. For some reason my google account won’t let me leave comments and I’ve just not had the time to figure out why.
And that’s it! So keep creating great content on your blog and linking up!
I need to update my blog so I can join in on the fun! I’ve taken a break, but will be back to it soon! Love reading all the linked posts!
Sometimes those breaks are needed! I’ve had to take them in the past and it’s always been good. Right now I’m not blogging near as frequently due to life and all, but it’s still my little “escape” 🙂
