Easy Recipes:
We all love easy recipes that taste amazing and my meatball recipe definitely falls into that category. Easy, healthy, made from scratch and you can make a large recipe and freeze some for later!
Easy Meatball Recipe:
You will need:
- 3# of hamburger
- 1 13oz can of evaporated milk
- 2 c. quick oats
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoon chilli powder
Mix together until well blended and form into 1-2 in. meatballs. Place meatballs into 9×13 glass baking dish. This recipe will completely fill your pan, making it an ideal meal for large families.
For your Meat Ball Sauce Recipe, you will need:
- dash of onion powder
- 2 cups of ketchup (I like the organic brand found at Meijer)
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 8 oz can of tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoon liquid smoke (optional)
Mix all of the sauce ingredients together and gently pour or spoon over the top of your meatballs.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Yields 12+ servings

- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoon chilli powder
- dash of onion powder
- 2 cups of ketchup (I like the organic brand found at Meijer)
- ⅓ cup maple syrup
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 8 oz can of tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoon liquid smoke (optional)
- Mix together until well blended and form into 1-2 in. meatballs.
- Place meatballs into 9x13 glass baking dish. This recipe will completely fill your pan, making it an ideal meal for large families.
- Make sauce and pour over meatballs.
If you have a smaller family and don’t want to be eating left-overs, or if you just want to make a freezer meal, it’s easy to do. Line a cookie sheet with dry wax paper and put your raw, unbaked meatballs on it. Freeze for 4-6 hours, then place in freezer bags. The sauce can be poured into a freezer bag or container and frozen as well. Use within 2 months.
Our family loves this recipe, the meatball sauce is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Look below for some other meal ideas!

I was planning on making several trays of these for a bridal shower in June. Can I make them, bake them and freeze them so all I have to do is defrost and reheat for ease on the day of the shower. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I think you could bake them and freeze them no problem. Just bake them in the sauce, let cool and put plastic wrap over the top and then tin foil. I wouldn’t freeze them for more than a month though π
It’s just me and my son so I will want to reduce the recipe to just one pound of meat, but I look forward to trying these.
