Awhile ago I came across a site with the most beautiful scripture lullabies. The music is intended for children, however I find it to be peaceful music for writing.
Before you read on I would love for you to click play on the video below. While that music is playing you can continue reading.
Ok, isn’t that the most soothing music ever?! 🙂
When it comes to peaceful music for writing, Scripture Lullabies has become my favorite. I will set the songs on repeat and just let them play softly in the background while I write. In fact “Lord Bless You” is playing right now!
With soft, soothing music, and lyrics straight from the Word of God; it’s no wonder people fall in love with these songs. Music speaks to one’s heart and soul and what better words be spoken then encouragement found in the word of God?
While this music may have been written with children in mind, the reviews that are written on Amazon clearly show that adults are “becoming as little” children and letting these songs wash into their souls, erasing stress and bringing comfort and healing.
I am honestly having a hard time writing this review. Not because I dislike the music, I LOVE the music. I actually sought out the company and asked them to sponsor a review and giveaway. So that not only would I be sharing this music with you, but so I could offer you a chance to win your own copy!
The reason I am having a hard time writing this; is the simple fact that their music touches a place in my soul, that cannot even verbalize itself. I will start playing my music and shut my eyes, and it feels like all my stress, do-to lists, tiredness and anything else that may be bothering me at the time, just washes away and God’s word comforts me. I just don’t really have the right words to share how I feel about these lullabies.
When I first heard this music I actually thought it would be wonderful birthing music. Well, interesting fact: BreakAway Music donates 1 out of every 10 Hidden In My Heart CDs to Pregnancy Resource Centers around the country. The company strongly supports the efforts of those centers.
Currently there are 2 different volumes that you can purchase. There is a third volume that should be released sometime this Fall. (basically SOON!) Since I was sent the first two as part of this review, I plan on using the funds that I was going to purchase them with, to buy the 3rd one when it comes out. 🙂
Scripture Lullabies can be purchased on Amazon. As with all of my links to Amazon, they are affiliate links and your purchase helps support my site (at no extra cost to you!). If you don’t want to support me, just clear your computer’s cookies before you order.
Now for the Giveaway! One lucky winner, will receive both Volume one and Volume two! Winner may choose a physical or digital format. If you went ahead and bought a copy already, you can gift your prize to a friend. Think of how that would make their day!!!

I’ve been hoping to purchase these CDs for a while! My girls & I love the Harrow Family (Sing the Word) & the Glory Revealed CDs and this would be a beautiful addition to our praise & song time in the morning, or while we are having rest time in the afternoon!
Yes, this music would be perfect for quiet time! 🙂
This is such beautiful music! It definitely touches the soul and heart! Thank you so much for sharing, this is the first that I’ve heard of them!
Isn’t it amazing 🙂
Thank you for this post! I’m so glad to hear that there is such a thing as Scripture-based music out there! The music is sooo peaceful, relaxing and heart-warming…takes away all the fears and sadness, and raises hope and faith instead.
Blessings,

How fun to hear from an international reader! And you are quite right about the music taking away fears and sadness 🙂
I love these CDs! I actually did use them for birthing my 4th baby in February, and I really appreciated the peace they brought into the room! I would definitely highly recommend these to anyone, kid or not! 🙂
I KNEW they would be good birthing music! 🙂
