Ever since the arrival of our little man I’ve discovered that my days are shorter. I’m pretty sure I no longer get 24 hours in a day. I’m thinking that somewhere or the other, at least 4 hours are missing. The other thing I’ve discovered is our paychecks seem smaller.
Not sure where the missing time or money is going, but I’m pretty sure little man has something to do with it. But, seriously, who could be mad at this face? Not me. 🙂
So instead I have to get creative and learn a few new tricks. Like how I’ve found time and money saved with paperless coupons.
One such place that offers paperless coupons is Walgreens. We already know I’m a fan of Walgreens, particularly their Ology brand of natural products.
Now I’m a fan of their paperless coupons too!
I went to my app store and found the Walgreens app, downloaded it and linked my balance rewards account to it. Then I started “clipping” paperless coupons. I was also able to view the ads right on my phone and make out my shopping list as well. Oh, and if you noticed in the photo above, the bar code means I don’t have to juggle a fussy baby and dig out a rewards card from the dozens that I carry around. 🙂
I have enough stuff to remember when leaving the house to also remember to grab a paper shopping list. Now I can make out my shopping list while feeding little man, and then leave to do my shopping.
I love combining sales and coupons and did just that with some of these items. The razors are my favorite brand and the sale plus $3 off coupon made them a great price. Batteries were also on sale and I needed them too. (why is it that so many baby things need batteries?)
My poor little man suffered from colic and I had heard good things about the gas drops so I got some to try. I think they help, but diet change is helping too. Baths help him as well, as you can see. 🙂
And that time and money saved with paperless coupons? Well, the time gets used up caring for little man, and the money that I saved…. well it’s a good thing I was able to save a little because at the way he is growing, he’s going to need some more clothes soon!
I love coupons, paper or electronic it doesn’t matter. I am glad for those who have taught me the skills to use them effectively. I write about saving money on groceries using coupons and learning skills to cook at home feeding a family on a budget is one of my specialties. I enjoy writing at http://www.lifelesshurried.com
Come on over and check it out.
Yes, surprisingly my days are also shorter and our paycheck is smaller as well! But yes, the cute faces make it all worth it. Beautiful little boy! #client
Thanks!
