Time is Swiftly Moving.
Time is Swiftly moving, soon will be no more.
Soon we’ll be arriving, eternities door.
Forever pain and anger, or forever joy and love.
Will you choose the world below, or the one above?
Soon we will be stepping across that unknown strand;
From a well timed world, into a timeless land.
The present time is yours, what you had no more.
The future time may never be, so what you have, use carefully!

This was written by me in ’06. I found it when I was cleaning out some areas and decided that it needed to be shared here. I dug it up again last week and got it scheduled.
At this particular point in time I will be in KS enjoying some wonderful time with hubby’s family. While I am missing writing here, and reading and commenting on the wonderful blogs I follow, not to mention Facebook and Twitter. 😉 I want to enjoy this time with family. We don’t see each other a lot and I am blessed with wonderful in laws. So, I will be back in full force the 7th when I am sharing features from last weeks Matrimonial Monday.
Have a wonderful New Year!
Hello from Kansas, I am visiting you from the Home Heart Link Up! This is totally Holy Spirit inspired writing. Wow! Happy New Year, Tonya from 4 little Fergusons
How fun that you are from Kansas! At the moment we are headed home from KS 🙂 I really love your blog by the way 🙂

What a great poem! We must seize today and appreciate all it holds. Thank you for the reminder. Have a fabulous week with family. (Visiting from Walking Redeemed)
It was certainly wonderful! Now to get home and try and put our lives back in order 😉
Hope you time in KS is wonderful! Happened to find you while hopping around this morning. Great post and great poem!
It certainly was! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
You wrote that? WOW! That ROCKS! And, you know something? I had never thought before, about Hell having anger..I thought about pain, but not the anger. Although, I suppose it makes a lot of sense, since in Heaven we will experience joy. And, the opposite of joy would be anger. I don’t know, I just thought that was interesting that I had not thought of that before. Just so, so, grateful to God that I won’t have to experience the anger for Eternity. Eternity will be Paradise for us…By the way, have a super time with your in laws. Actually, over Christmas, including New Year’s Day, I had a major breakthrough with my in laws. It was 3 years in the making…
I hope you have a wonderful time with family…Time is definitely too short!
We did, thanks! 🙂
Beautiful. Such a wise and insightful faith-filled poem. I also wrote about time in my post and can see how you would agree with how we spend out time here on earth. It’s my New Year’s resolution, to spend it worthy of HIM. 🙂 So glad I stopped by! So very nice to meet you.
I’m certainly glad you stopped by as well 🙂
Going to check out your post now.
